Debut Year: 1959
Trix Rabbit is a cartoon rabbit wildly known for attempting to trick children into giving him their bowl of Trix cereal which prompted the well known slogan "Silly rabbit, trix are for kids!". The Trix Rabbit really resonated with the children and adults watching and during a box-top mail in contest in 1976 and 1980 where people were allowed to vote on if the rabbit got a bowl of cereal, the votes were overwhelmingly "yes" and was followed up with a commercial of the rabbit finally eating a bowl of Trix cereal.
