TV Opening Sequences: Charles In Charge

Charles In Charge (1984-1990)

Originality: 1/5
There is nothing original about this intro. Classic "sitcom" style which gives every character a few seconds on screen when their name appears featuring clips of them from the series as well as group shots in between the actor introductions.

Theme Song: 4/5
The theme songs words are written for this show and describes who Charles is, why he's in charge and who exactly he's in charge of. It's both catchy and 100% based on the plot of the show.

Informative: 2/5
Aside from learning that Charles is in charge of the kids in the family nothing else is explained, but really, I'm pretty sure most people could have figured that out from the title itself which means it didn't really do it's job. Your first introduction to any series is the title and the second is the opening sequences. If you don't learn more from the opening sequence than you already knew from the title, than it's kind of a fail.
