Party of Five (1994-2000)
There is nothing that is original about this intro. Each character "introduction" is about 5-7 seconds with clips from the show and the rest is just all the characters together either crying or laughing.

Personally, I love this song and I think it suits the show so well. Every kid/teenager/young adult really does just want to live their own lives and be closer to "free".
Informative: 2/5
Aside from it showing all the kids in the family, it doesn't come close to explaining WHY it's only kids in the family. I think it may have benefited from even just a second or two shot of a newspaper clipping about the parents dying in the car accident considering that's what this whole series is based on. Everything that happens to the characters in this series is all because they lost their parents at a young age which I think should be touched on somewhere in the intro.
