Beverly Hills 90210 Card Game Review
Year: 1992
Ages: 8+
Players: 2-4 (For the purpose of this review, there were 2 players)
Set Up Time: 1 minute
Playing Time: Took us 15 minutes.
Object: Score 1 point for each zip code card collected. First to 50 points wins.
Review:
+ Love that all the characters have their own cards and number (Andrea-3, Brandon-4, Brenda-5, David-6, Donna-7, Dylan-8, Kelly-10, Steve-11, The Cast-12). The other card numbers are all the Zip Code cards that need to be collected.
+ Cards feature large print, nice pictures and easy to distinguish colors.
+ Simple and straightforward. In a two person game one player plays a card (For example a Purple Donna-7) and the next player tries to get a higher number in the same color. So if the other person played a (Purple Steve-11), they would win both cards.
- Since it's a card game it has very little to do with the actual show.
Overall:
I was obsessed with this show at a young age so this was a favorite to play as a kid (although the suggested age for this card game is 8, which is ridiculous). It's straightforward to figure out for new players with nice cards that feature all the original cast pictures. As long as you are a fan of card games, you will like this one.
