Shawn Hook- "Cosmonauts And The Girl" CD Review

Shawn Hook- "Cosmonaut And The Girl"

"My beliefs and your beliefs
Are ticking bombs that hide beneath
The smiles that fade
For when we disagree"
- "Dirty Little War"

Year: 2012

# of Songs: 10

Favorite Songs:
- "Every Red Light"
- "Dirty Little War"
- "So Close"
- "Middle Finger"

Least Favorite Songs:
- "Planet Earth"

Overall:
I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed this album. The first song "Planet Earth" is much more indie than pop and I was skeptical about the rest of the album but once I gave it a listen, I was hooked. There is nothing I love more in music than relatability and I had such a strong connection to "Every Red Light" and "Dirty Little War". Shawn Hook is definitely an underrated Canadian artist.
