Brandi Carlile- "The Firewatcher's Daughter"
"With the weight of the world resting on my back,
And the road on which I've traveled is as long as it is cracked.
But I keep pressing forward with my feet to the ground,
For a heart that is broken makes a beautiful sound."

Overall:
Although this CD is labeled as country, it's got a mix of country, rock n roll and some indie songs and throughout the variety of song styles the one consistent is that they are all beautifully written. There were a few songs (whose lyrics I gave top points to) that might have scored higher in a different song style but it was better overall then I had anticipated.
75% (Good)
